All students must sign in/out at the attendance window if they are arriving late or leaving early. This will save teachers and students time if a teacher does not change the absence to a tardy.  This is the QR code (also displayed at the Attendance window) that must be used to sign in/out:

RCHS Attendance QR Code

  • Line 1 - EARLY RELEASE (getting out of class early for an appointment, etc.)
    • If appointments are made in advance of the day of the appointment/absence, passes will be available at the Attendance window for students to pick up during the day.
    • If a student is early released during a passing period, no pass will be written for students. Students should proceed to the Attendance window to sign out of school.
    • If a same day appointment is needed, please allow at least 2 hours for an early release. Although we strive to do our best to release your student, not providing enough notice for an early release could result in a delay in releasing your student.
  • Line 2 - TARDY LINE (arriving late to class)
    • A tardy is considered as missing less than half of a class period, while an absence is missing more than half of a class period.
  • Line 3 - ALL OTHER (out all day with illness, travel, etc.)

NOTE: All lines are cleared as time allows and the information will be entered into Infinite Campus by the end of the school day each day.  Students that are anticipating to leave early must retrieve the pass at the attendance window.  No early release passes will be written after 1:45pm. We do not deliver passes to classes.
